| Stagecoach West Scotland's website records the 75th Anniversary Open Day at Kilmarnock Depot on Saturday 9th June as a "roaring success" and the good turn out from gricers, former staff and public alike combined with excellent weather certainly made for a great day. From my own personal perspective, it was good to catch with so many old faces at Killie once more. All cash raised on the day went to support the Ayrshire Hospice
The following day, members of the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust organised a vintage bus running day in Ayr, operating both clockwise and anti clockwise services via Alloway, Doonfoot and the Esplanade. This was a superbly organised event and the GVVT team deserve a hearty slap on the back for the carrying off the day. Again, cash donations on the buses went to support the Ayrshire Hospice.
