A selection of scanned slides of the "A", "AV" and "AS" class of Volvo Ailsas operated in Glasgow from 1982, which was my first visit to the city with a decent camera, up until 2000. This is another collection which will gradually grow over the next few months as time permits. I've generally taken a lot of slides of the Ailsa class, being a firm favourite of mine, and there's a further collection created on this gallery looking at the hired fleet after the Larkfield fire, which included a fair fleet of Tayside Ailsas.

For the purists, I've labelled all the images under SBL to keep some form of numerical order throughout, although I'm aware that at least three sets of legal lettering would have been carried during the period covered - GGPTE at the start, SBL and of course First Glasgow.

These slides are taken on a variety of 100 and 200 ASA slide films and scanned with a Nikon Coolscan V ED film scanner.
